My First Day On The Road – Episode 1
How did you find this video? Because you’ve just stumbled across the genesis of something beautiful. Come in, sit down, put your feet up and join me in the Lake District. This is my first On-the-road Vlog and I hope you enjoy it.
It’s going to be pretty basic while I work out my filming, presenting and editing style.
It’s far from perfect but hey, you gotta start somewhere.
For this trip I was joined by the wonderful Mr Red Kite Drones (AKA Locky). He is a professional drone pilot and you can see his work here:
He is also a professional at putting up with me, I’m always stopping and filming things and most of the footage we film doesn’t get used.
On this trip we visited the wonderful pub The Strands Inn and Brewery
This is a wonderful pub, inn and brewery run by Mark and Lesley. It’s nestled right in the heart of the Wasdale valley area and the perfect place to stay when you want to go for a long walk, followed by a relaxing evening by the fire with a lovely pint and a hearty meal.
The punters got a little more than they bargained for when I showed up with Red Kite Drones to play a set.
Dan & Dan talk us through the brewing process, it was all way over my head but I learned that they boil something and it makes something else that they then let sit for a while.
I’ll let them explain it.
We then finish up with a song from my concert that night, I think people enjoyed it, It might not have been what they would usually listen to but I don’t think they wanted me to stop at any point, which is always a good sign.
